Dumpster Rental Contract — C&D

This contract describes the terms and conditions of the agreement made between the parties known as: Rapid Container Service, referred to hereinafter as the Company AND The Customer.

  • Pricing and Payments:

    1. Customer agrees to pay rates quoted for the dumpster which includes up to quoted tons of materials as well as any overages incurred due to overloading or additional days requested by the Customer. Not Included- Construction debris state waste tax of $ .60 per cubic yard OR MSW tax (9.75%- 38.5% depending on county and property type) for any non-construction and demo loads.
    2. Due to strict weight limitations and safety, overloaded containers will be rejected until made safe to haul. A $125 trip fee will apply.
    3. The dumpster rental includes use for up to 14 days. If the container is kept longer than 14 days, there may be an additional fee of $10 per day. Please call to schedule removal as we don't automatically come and remove the dumpster. After 30 days containers may automatically removed if no communication from customer, charged for standard rental and extra days.
    4. Street Permits are required to place the dumpster in the street in some communities. Cost of the permit is the customer's responsibility.
    5. All customers must have a credit card on file with the Company in order to schedule service.
    6. 100% deposit for rental must be paid before delivery, any taxes, fees, and or extra charges will be automatically charged to the card on file once the container is picked up.
    7. Any unpaid balance due to a declined credit card will start to accrue 15% interest from the date of container pick up until paid in full. There will be a minimum $25 late fee.

  • Site Access and Ground Conditions:

    1. Customer is authorizing the Company to enter your property for the express purpose of moving trucks, vehicles, containers, and equipment onto or off of your property. Customers cannot move a dumpster that has been placed on site without our approval. We can service a re-spot for a fee of $125.
    2. Customer is responsible for providing free and suitable access to and from the delivery site (including the removal and reinstatement of local obstructions) and for ensuring suitable ground conditions for delivery, placement and removal of the dumpster.
    3. Delivery trucks require: 50 feet of length (front to back) and at least 10 of width. Placement location should also have 14 feet of vertical clearance. All dumpsters should be placed on a flat, level surface. If a dumpster cannot be delivered because of space limitations and or obstructions (Overhead wires, trees, etc.) a $125 trip charge will be applied.
    4. Any vehicles, snow, dirt or anything that may hinder the placement or removal of the container must be removed prior to Company arrival. Any roll-off dumpster called in for service that is blocked, overloaded or too heavy to be safely hauled, is subject to a trip charge of $125. If ice melt is needed to gain access to the container a charge of $30 per bag will apply.
    5. Customer voluntarily assumes all known and unknown risks relating to the roll-off dumpster box and owner's property during delivery, removal, and throughout the term of your rental contract. Company will not accept any responsibility for damage to any surface. You should therefore take steps to protect surfaces (e.g. driveway, paving slabs, soft ground) before delivery.
    6. Should the Customer fail to return the container, The Company maintains the right to enter the premises where the container may be without notice and take possession of and remove it at the Customer’s expense all without legal process. Customer is hereby waives any claims for damages from any such entry or removal.

  • Container Loading:

    1. Contents of the dumpster are the customer's responsibility. Be aware of others adding contents to your dumpster.
    2. All refuse shall remain within the confines of the dumpster and shall not exceed the top rim of the box. Every attempt shall be taken to equally disperse the weight of the refuse within the dumpster.
    3. Materials Accepted: Construction and Demolition Debris Loads: Materials resulting from the alteration, construction, destruction, rehabilitation, or repair of any man-made physical structure including houses, buildings, industrial or commercial facilities, and roadways. These items include, but are not limited to: lumber, roofing, siding, flooring, and windows. Please bag up separately new shingle plastic wrap and Tyvek in roofing dumpsters. NO YARD WASTE OR BRUSH CAN BE IN CONTAINERS.THIS WILL RESULT IN REJECTED LOADS AND A TRIP FEE WILL BE CHARGED. CONTAINERS ARE AVAILABLE FOR YARD WASTE OR BRUSH ONLY LOADS. Please call with any questions on garbage/clean out dumpsters and see Item 4&5 for materials NOT accepted in dumpsters.
    4. ITEMS SUBJECT TO ADDITIONAL FEES Tires ● Electronics (TV’s, Computers) ● Mattress/Box Spring ● Furniture (bulky upholstered) ● Appliances ● Small Engines/ Lawn Equipment ● Hot Tub All Chargeable items subject to waste fees and Taxes. Each item is subject to minimum $40.00 or more PER item.
    5. Materials NOT Accepted: As defined by local, state or federal regulation, these items are NOT acceptable in any roll-off dumpster and are subject to additional charges. Any and all charges accrued by unacceptable items will be charged to the customer's account. ● Hazardous or Liquid Waste ● Paint ● Asbestos ● Gas Powered Refrigeration Units ● Batteries ● Oil Filters ● Lead ● Barrels/Tanks ● Fluorescent/H.I.D. Bulbs ● Ballasts/PCBs ● Creosote Treated Wood ● Medical/Infectious Waste ● Animal Carcass
